Facebook and Instagram data deletion

Effective September 10, 2026. Proofbin is a product of ConnectArt Media Agency LLC, a limited liability company registered in Florida, United States.

This page is for one specific thing: a Facebook Page or an Instagram account that someone connected to Proofbin so a workspace could publish to it. It explains what we hold from that connection and how to have it removed.

Everything else about your data, including your own account if you have one, is covered in our privacy policy. This page is narrower on purpose, because Meta asks for a page it can point to that answers this one question directly.

What connecting a Facebook Page or Instagram account gives us

When someone connects a Facebook Page (and, through it, the Instagram Business account linked to that Page) so a workspace can publish to it, we store:

• The Page or account's name and its id on Meta's side.
• An access token Meta issues for that Page, which is what lets us post to it on the workspace's behalf.
• The Meta user id of the person who authorized the connection, so a deletion request can be matched to the right accounts.

We never see that person's Facebook password, their friends list, their personal timeline, or anything else about their Facebook or Instagram account beyond what is listed above.

Two ways to have it deleted

From Facebook, without contacting us

Remove the app from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, or Accounts Center → Apps and websites, depending on which one your account shows) and Meta automatically sends us a signed request telling us to delete what we hold about you. We act on it the moment it arrives, no one has to look at it by hand.

By asking us directly

Email support@proofbin.com from the address you used, or including the name of the Facebook Page or Instagram account in question, and ask for it to be disconnected. We do the same thing Facebook's automatic request would have done.

What actually happens

The stored access token for every Page and Instagram account that person authorized is erased, in every workspace it was connected to. The connection is marked disconnected. Nothing more can be posted through it after that, and re-connecting requires going through Facebook's consent screen again.

This does not reach into Facebook or Instagram itself: a post that was already published stays wherever it was published, the same as disconnecting any other app would work. What this removes is what we hold, not what Meta's own platforms hold.

Confirming it happened

Either path ends the same way: a confirmation code, and a page on this site that shows it went through. If Meta triggered the request, that code is also shown on Meta's own side. If you emailed us, we reply with it.
