Terms of Service
Effective September 10, 2026. Proofbin is a product of ConnectArt Media Agency LLC, a limited liability company registered in Florida, United States.
This is the agreement between you and ConnectArt Media Agency LLC for the use of Proofbin. Opening an account means you accept it. It is written to be read, so where a plain sentence says the same thing as a paragraph of legal language, we used the plain sentence.
Who can open an account
You have to be at least 18 years old. If you are opening the account for a company, you are saying you are allowed to agree to this on its behalf.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the people you invite into your workspace do with it. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has it.
Your work stays yours
Everything you upload is yours and stays yours. Video, photos, attachments, comments, all of it. Nothing in this agreement transfers any ownership of it to us, and no plan, no upgrade and no lapse in payment changes that.
What you give us is narrow and only what the service physically requires: permission to store your files, to make the copies playback needs, to generate thumbnails, captions and transcripts from them, to serve them to the people you invited or sent a link to, and to copy them to a backup destination you connected. Nothing else. We do not publish your work, we do not show it to anyone you did not send it to, and we do not use it to train anything.
You are telling us you have the right to upload what you upload. If a client owns the footage, the arrangement between you and that client is yours to sort out, not ours.
What you cannot upload
Material you have no right to. Material that is illegal where you are or where we are. Anything built to break the service or to get into somebody else's workspace. We do not read your files looking for problems, but if something is reported to us and it clearly falls in here, we take it down.
If you think something here is yours
Write to support@proofbin.com and tell us what the material is, where in Proofbin it is, why you own it, and how to reach you. We will look at it and remove it if the claim holds up. If your material was taken down and you believe that was wrong, write to the same address and say so.
Plans and what they cost
- Free. $0. Enough to try the product properly with real work in it.
- Proofbin. $14.99 a month. Up to 10 hours of video and up to 200 GB stored. Unlimited people.
- Proofbin Studio. $29.99 a month minimum. No cap on volume. Each hour past what the minimum covers is $1.52. You pay the minimum or your usage, whichever is larger, never both.
Seats are free on every paid plan. Adding a person to your workspace has never cost anything and it is not going to start.
How an hour is counted
A standard hour is 20 GB. Most delivered video lands well under that. Heavier material counts as more than one hour per hour of running time, in proportion to what it weighs, because a heavy hour costs more to keep than a light one and pretending otherwise would just mean charging everybody for the heaviest customer.
What you are billed for is what is stored right now, not what passed through during the month. Delete something and it stops counting from then on. The current number is always visible inside the product, so the invoice should never be the first time you see it.
We can change prices. If we do, we tell the account by email at least thirty days before it applies to you, and the change never applies to a period you already paid for.
Billing and cancellation
Paid plans bill every month in advance. You can cancel at any time from inside the product, and it takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. You keep working normally until then.
We do not give refunds. The reasons and the one exception are on the refunds page.
If a payment fails we will tell you and try again before anything is limited. We do not lock an account over a card that expired without writing to you first.
Your material after you leave
When a paid period ends without a renewal, your material stays reachable for 30 days so you can download it. We email the account before that window closes. After it closes, we may delete everything in the account, and that does not come back.
If you need longer than 30 days, ask. It is a conversation, not a form.
Deletion that happens on its own
A workspace can be set to release space automatically once a cut is confirmed to be sitting in a backup destination you connected. It is off unless the owner of the workspace switches it on. When it does run, it removes the streaming copy of a cut and never the master, it erases no records, and the cut can be rebuilt with a button. If the copy cannot be verified, nothing is deleted and the reason is written into that cut's history.
The full description is on the privacy page. You are agreeing to it here because it is the one thing in the product that deletes something without a person pressing anything.
What we promise about uptime, and what we do not
We run this carefully and we use it ourselves every working day, which is the strongest thing we can honestly say. We do not offer a guaranteed uptime number and we are not going to pretend to.
The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Keep your own copy of your work. That is not us dodging responsibility, it is the same advice we would give about any single place a file lives. The product has a backup destination feature for exactly this reason and we would rather you used it.
Limit on what we owe
If something goes wrong and we owe you money for it, the most we owe is what you paid us in the twelve months before it happened. We are not liable for lost profit, lost business, or lost data beyond that.
Some places do not allow limits like that. Where that is the case, this section applies as far as the law allows and no further.
Suspending or closing an account
We can suspend or close an account that is not paying, that is breaking the rules above, or that is being used to harm someone. Except where the problem is urgent, we tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it first. If we close an account for a reason that is not your fault, you get your material and the unused part of what you paid.
Changes to these terms
If we change something that matters, we email the account at least thirty days before it takes effect. Carrying on using the product after that means you accept the new version. If you do not, cancel, and the refunds page says what happens.
Which law applies
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its rules on conflict of laws. Anything that cannot be sorted out between us goes to the state or federal courts sitting in St. Lucie County, Florida, and we both agree to that.
The rest
If one part of this is unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean giving it up. You cannot transfer this agreement to someone else without asking us. We can transfer it if the business is sold, and we would tell you.
This page, plus the privacy page and the refunds page, is the whole agreement between us about Proofbin.
Questions about this page, or a request about your data, go to support@proofbin.com. We answer from that address and nowhere else.
